Well, it can't be helped.

The other day, I was talking to a Korean mother and said, "It's tough because the Japanese yen is weak!" She replied, "We're struggling too because ours (Korea) is the second weakest!" I felt like we were strong comrades across borders (lol).

Well, I like saving money, and I'm the type who doesn't have any weird pride or stupid pretensions, so I'm aggressively cutting costs even overseas (lol). When a snack vendor says, "Buy this for 20 RM (about 800 yen)~," I always haggle, saying, "That's too expensive! I'll buy it if it's 10 RM (about 400 yen)!" 👍 (This is a trick I can do because I know the market price).

I'm great for constantly finding ways to contribute to the local community while being stingy.

So, I'm going to reveal the real living expenses for our 10th month of moving, for my super indoor parent and child who are basically homebodies and don't want to go out unless absolutely necessary (we spend our days playing games, programming, doing puzzles, and playing chess. Just going to the mall is exhausting).

Since I'm the quintessential Asian, this post is just to brag about "how cheaply I managed to live!" (lol).

First, here's our basic lifestyle.

• No car. We only use electric motorcycles for transportation (taxis for long distances).
• We shop via delivery or at local shops (malls only occasionally).
• We eat out about 2-3 times a week.
• Work: Home security guard, and exam student, etc.

To completely eliminate stress, ultra-cutting fixed costs is essential. However, I don't want to have other frustrations like lacking "peace of mind and safety." So, I'll reveal our current perfect balance sheet~

ぶっちゃけ、食費はかなり抑えているから参考にならないかも。お菓子は買わないで作るし、食材も箱買いして下ごしらえ＆ストック。そもそも野菜の一部はMade in 我が家（自家栽培）だったりもする（笑）
サプリ代の項目で「ほぼ買わない」と書いたのは、ほとんどが『食』で補えるから。ビタミンB・ビタミンC・鉄・亜鉛だけは常備してる👍

⚠️警告：世の男性陣、絶対に勘違いするなよ？

ここで一点、声を大にしてお伝えしたい。特に男性陣！！！ この収支を見て、「え、マレーシアってこんくらいで結構何とかなるんじゃん。うちの奥さんはコスト高いなぁ」とか1ミリでも思った方！！！

寝言は寝てから言えばかちん・・・

これは、節約が趣味の人間が、切り詰めることに快感を感じてやっている狂気の金額です(笑)。

• リフォーム、電子機器の修理、バイクの修理を自分でこなす
• 木に登ってフルーツをゲットする厚かましさ
• 猫がうんこ踏ん張る中、土に埋もれたうんこをかき分けながら庭の草刈りをする（運動不足だからこれでプラマイゼロにしてる）
• 家中の至る所にあるトカゲのうんこを見て見ぬふりする
• I'll ride my motorcycle through the real Splash Mountain on the road to school, no matter how heavy the rain.

Only people who are a few screws loose, like this, can maintain this cost of living (lol). I'm sure your wife keeps a clean and safe life by tightening the screws for you and your family. You should be grateful to your wife.

Malaysia today is really no different from Japan in terms of prices, and in some cases, it's even more expensive. Given that, I think I'm a pretty messed up person living on this amount. I'm pretty serious about that.

What is the 'priority' you want to protect most in your life?

I could reduce rent if I wanted to. But I absolutely will not compromise on being close to school and 'safety'.

Because for me, this is 'Malaysia where I came for my health'.

I can't afford to be constantly worried about car maintenance costs and rising gas prices, or be exposed to the stress of daily heavy traffic jams. That's why I don't own a car and rent a safe place.

I'll enjoy the madness I can cut back on (the gritty aspects of life), but I won't spend even a millimeter of money or time on stress that threatens my mental and physical health.

These are my priorities. The thing called 'priority'!
